Our author in focus for Spy Week 2015 is Graham Greene. A sometime MI5 agent himself, Greene brought psychological and political depth as well as thrills to his celebrated spy stories. At the National Library of Scotland, on Tuesday 19 May, 6-7pm, members of the Department of English Literature at the University of Edinburgh will give short talks on Greene’s seminal contribution to the genre of spy fiction, exploring the complex, morally ambiguous, and always entertaining world of ‘Greeneland’. The event is free but ticketed.
